The Leofoto SA-X Series tripods are one of the most compact collapsed setups on the market with a perfectly balanced weight to strength ratio. The "X" version has a newly designed apex with a rosette connector for SA-X rifle heads AND a 3/8" mounting screw to attach any standard 3/8" head. The rosette connector provides an extremely stable connection between the tripod's apex and the base of the head. The angle stop design has also been improved from the standard pull tab to a knurled bar which allows the user to adjust the angles with only one hand as opposed to two. The SA-X Series offers unparalleled versatility, built as a hunter’s companion who also enjoys long days on the range, but most requested by military, law enforcement, competitive shooters or those simply looking for one of the most compact and reliable shooting supports on the market. The SA-X Series tripods offer maximum rigidity, capable of supporting non-traditional shooting positions with a heavy load capacity. The Leofoto MA-40X Lever-Release Rapid Lock Ball Head With Hybrid Arca / Picatinny Clamp was designed specifically to be used on an SA-X tripod, but it features both the SA-X rosette connection as well as a standard 3/8" mounting socket. The head has a lever release to lock/unlock the ball and a redesigned lever-release, hybrid clamp system for both the ARCA and Picatinny rails with an adjustable clamping width.

The Leofoto MH-X Full Dynamic Ball Head with Handlebar Control for SA-X Series Tripods is designed for photographers, shooters, hunters, and military applications. It features a motorcycle throttle-style knob for rapid adjustment and locking the ball in place. The throttle knob can extend in length for ease of use when wearing gloves in cold or harsh conditions. The MH-X Series also features a silver dial on the inside of the throttle-style knob to control the friction, or drag on the ball. The precision-machined ball makes movement silky smooth and with a more than 80% bared ball. The ball head can provide a +/-55° tilt range for a dynamic range of motion. This head mounts via rosette connector onto an SA-X tripod or any standard 3/8" mounting tripod.
